I loved my stay in Psinthos and at Casa Kariki and it proved a great base for my travels around the island. Away from the mass tourism crowds and hotels, the house overlooks what is probably the only pleasant square of its kind on the entire island of Rhodos without through-traffic or excess noise (and trust me, I visited every village and settlement). The house is very clean and cute, has ample free-parking right outside, and invites you to feel a little bit connected to the locals who congregate and meet outside every evening. The restaurants and locals right outside will make you feel right at home and you'll get as authentic an experience of Rhodian village life as is possible. Maria was always quick to respond via messages, even letting me know when the water was going to be unavailable due to some repairs in the village. If you're a solo-traveller looking to hike and explore all parts of the island with a car, there is probably nowhere better placed than Psinthos and Casa Kariki.

Psynthos is a very good location to discover each part of Rhodes. No many tourists in the village, but with one of the best restaurants of the island (the closest from the house). The house is well equipped and having breakfast on the terrace is pleasant.
