Located next to the Atlantic Coast, The Village - Praia D’El Rey Golf & Beach Resort offers spacious self-catering apartments, townhouses and villas. The accommodation is divided by properties "By the Garden", which are located next to the golf course, and by properties "By the Ocean", which are next to the resort's northern beach.
Accommodation is done in a modern decor with cable TV. It includes a kitchen with kitchenware, a refrigerator, as well as a microwave and dishwasher. A dining area is provided.
The apartments and townhouses have access to a condominium swimming pool, while the villas each enjoy their own private swimming pool. For a special rate, guests have access to the Hotel Marriott's facilities, which include a spa, fitness centre, bar, 2 restaurants and a championship golf course. These facilities are within 1 to 3 km, depending on the booked accommodation. Other activities, such as scuba diving, are organized within the resort.
The resort is 20 km from the medieval town of Óbidos. The fishing village of Peniche is 19 km away. Lisbon Airport is 75 km away. Guests may rent a car at the resort. Free parking is possible on-site. There also is a free resort shuttle.

Very comfortable villa, with all needed amenities and top furniture. Spotlessly clean. Nice bathrooms. Reception/maintenance staff were polite and responsive via WhatsApp. We received an upgrade to a villa with a fantastic terrace and view to the ocean, and the beautiful Praia d'El Rey beach just a few steps away (note: the Village is next to the Beachfront complex, at a 4-minute drive from the Village reception). Overall, good value for money.
