“Amazing short stay”

The hotel and room was very clean. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was in the perfect location, about 6 or 7 minute walk from the old town square and new town. I would stay here again.

We just had a brilliant stay at the Hotel Bologna. The hotel has a wonderful old fashioned charm, think antique wooden furniture, ornate gilt mirrors, and polished floors, combined with modern comforts like air conditioning, fast lifts and even faster WiFi. The bedroom and bathroom were large and well equipped, the beds very comfy. We asked for two rooms together a double and a twin in a quiet area of the hotel and that's what we got. The hotel was absolutely spotlessly clean. The staff seemed to be constantly cleaning, polishing and vacuuming, and speaking of the staff, they were all polite, friendly and professional. The hotel is well located in a quiet side street, about 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge, 10 minutes from the Old Town Square and about 12 minutes or so from Wenselas square. If you take a left when you leave the hotel there is a great burger place practically next door, which caters for vegans and meat eaters alike. A little further along and around the corner to the left is a great (gluten free) Italian restaurant, and a lovely authentic Czech one too. There was an Indian restaurant close by and a number of other cafes too that we didn't get to try. Speaking of food, the breakfast in the hotel was terrific, bacon, eggs, sausages, cereal, yogurt, several types of fruit, vegetables, breads and delicious cakes and pastries. All types of juices and coffees were also available. It was pretty much a feast! They serve breakfast over 3 hours, 7.30 to 10.30, so even on busy days seats were always available, and they keep bringing more food out. Tip: If you like a late breakfast take a table in the dining room on the reception side, (there are two breakfast areas) as they clear away and clean up a bit earlier on the other side. We loved this hotel and would recommend to anyone, I would love to give it 10 stars, but have taken 2 stars away due to issues with the hot water, which i will detail below.

Super comfortable beds with air con! Great location to the old town. Breakfast was also nice.
