Location was perfect, a few steps from the old town square. We stayed in the apartment with a terrace and I was afraid that being in such a central location there would be street noise, but to my surprise it was very quiet for us, even out on the terrace. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious and the beds comfortable. The host made us feel very welcome, communication was great and they had a lot of suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby.

The location is excellent..The apartment is clean, roomy and quiet. The apartment itself was hidden away inside what would have been the attic of the building so a flight of stairs after the lift which only goes to the second floor. Also the stairs to the attic bedroom were very steep .. more like a ladder. Only access to local information was via email ..

The host was very good with communication, and after mentioning it was our friends birthday left us a lovely bottle of sparkling wine and a happy birthday note which was very kind :) The location was perfect, so close to everything we wanted to see - all in walking distance. It does seem to be a university and we seemed to have a lot of young people staying around us which were a bit noisy but did not bother us as we were out a lot. The place itself was nice, however the stairs to the upstairs bed are extremely narrow - would be dangerous for children or anybody with mobility issues. There is only one small mirror in the bathroom which is inconvenient if you are a group of girls getting ready - an extra mirror would be handy! Wardrobes smelled a bit musty and some surfaces were dusty. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however the young girl in reception was very rude and blunt, we were advised there may be a possibility to check in early but she did not want to hear about that and made it clear check in was 3pm and no earlier. Whenever we said hello or goodbye we would be ignored, no pleasanteries from her - however it’s possible she has nothing to do with the actual accommodation.
