Good value for money. very friendly and helpful host, walking distance to the sea front and a good base to explore Portsmouth city centre on foot. I was worried about the car parking situation (needing a parking permit), but the host sorted me out on both the days I needed it. The host was very quick to reply to messages via booking.com which was really helpful. I enjoyed the full English. I didn't spend much time exploring the neighbourhood but from walk by it looks like there are many food options nearby. I'll definitely consider booking again if I return to Portsmouth.

Everything. Mark was a fantastic host and couldn't do enough for me. The hotel is is near the high street where you can find everything for your needs. Hotel VERY VERY Clean. If you're ever down there it's worth a stay.

The family room was great value for a brief stopover after arriving late evening on a ferry. The breakfast was fine and it was a comfortable place to stay. Shops and bars around the corner. Staff were very accomodating about arrival time.
