The street is close to bus stops and gives you an idea of a typical Portugal home, a superbly comfortable bed

First, I booked a room without a balcony, but the reviews about that small room were not terrible. Then, I changed my booking to a room with a balcony. I believe it was the right decision. There are two rooms: on the first floor and on the second floor (attic). The room on the first floor is big enough for one person, and there is a balcony, but I did not use it. The whole house smell like old church but you get use in time :) I stayed with the landlord (grandma and grandpa). They are always at home but spend their time in their living room. Sometimes, I did not understand whether they were at home or not. The room with a balcony is OK and clean. I spent five nights there, and during the night, the room was super cold even though I kept the heating on. The other part of the home was super cold, too. Having a shower is a big issue. Hot water works perfectly, but in winter, the bathroom is cold, too. The house's location is a little bit far from the center. I always used a bolt taxi because it cost 3-5 euros to go everywhere and every time. So location is not a problem. I was happy to stay in Suite Porto.
