Excellent stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, always had a smile. Spotless bedroom and bathroom and a good choice of hot and cold food for a tasty breakfast. We had one evening meal in the hotel restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced. Great location next to the Cathedral and 10 mins walk from the river Douro and spectacular bridges.

Staff were very helpful and when checking and asked if I needed any recommendations on activities. She provided excellent recommendation which was very helpful. Marcus on the front desk was also very helpful and upgraded me to a suite which was a nice surprise.. The location was also very central and I felt safe as a solo traveller.
