The apartment is in the center of Porto, supermarket is in front, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The host was really kind and let us in before 4pm.

The property is located within short waking distance from the main Porto attractions in histrocial part of the city (Igreja do Carmo, Livraria Lello booking store, Clerigos Church). The location allows you to feel the vibrant atmosphere of Porto and its streets. Property is cosy, clean and supplied with all the necessary equipment for comfortable stay. The property managemnt have sent very detailed and up to date instructions on how to arrive at the property and collect the keys. They have been also provideding prompt feedback prior to and during stay for any queries arising.

The location of this apartment is just amazing! Super central, with many cafes and restaurants and a supermarket on your doorstep, and many more within a few min walk. The area is not as busy and touristy as the Ribeira neighbourhood, it had a much more authentic local feel to it which we loved. The apartment is about 15-20min walk to Ponte Luis Bridge and the Ribeira. The owners of the apartment are very responsive and reply to messages promptly. The instructions for self check in were really clear and we had no problems finding the apartment even though we arrived late in the evening. The apartment itself was lovely and very clean, with plenty of space, a desk and a chair in the bedroom, a sofa and a small TV in the living area, and a kitchen area with microwave, a cooking hob, and kitchen utensils. There's also a washing machine, a dining table and a small fridge which we found very handy during the warm summer days. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The shower+sink and the toilet have separate areas. We found the toilet area a little small when the doors were closed but it didn't bother us at all. Our apartment was on 1st floor (there's no lift in the building) and the window looked out on the back courtyard which had a gate, so it was quiet at night even with an open window. During our whole stay we felt safe walking around, including late in the evening. We would definately stay in this apartment again! Recommendations in the area: Na Muche restaurant - delicious food, and the best Francesinha (traditional Portuguese dish); Catraio bar with lovely craft and non-craft beers (with an amazing beer garden at the top of the building!), and Confeitaria Aliança cafe, with lovely coffee, pastries and Rissole (meat-filled pastry) - they're all just a couple minutes walk down the street, with friendly attentive staff and great prices.
