Hotel is located in the heart of the city and the Main Street close to all the attractions of Porto city centre.It is around 1 km to Sao Bento Metro and not very far by walking from Sao Bento train station and it was ok for us travel by train to Aveiro,Braga and Guimaraes. Not far to get Hop- on Hop off Bus Tour situated at the end of pedestrian street Rua Santa Catarina main shopping street with lot of shops,restaurants, bars and after Mercado do Bolhao where 2 company of city tours departing from morning to evening.City tour buses offer also a Douro River cruise,we did and it was lovely.

This hotel is in a very good location. One can stroll in the evening without any fears because there are always people. Shopping Arcade Santa Catarina is a step away from the hotel. These arcades consist of three storeys. The upper one being a food court. There is a metro station Bilhao nearby some 100 metres from the hotel infront of a church with blue tiles. The mercado is situated in the same street of the metro station of bilhao. There is food and fresh vegetables and fish. Its amazing and very clean.
