The apartment was clean and well-maintained. All appliances worked perfectly. Centrally located, it's just a 10-minute walk from Trindade metro station after arriving from the airport. The building is small, bright, and well-kept. The entrance has two codes: one for the outside door and another for the apartment, which is common for many short-term rentals in Porto. Communication with PortoCityHosts was outstanding. All necessary information was provided on time and clearly communicated. There were no hidden costs. The company also issued a bill for the tourist tax just before my trip, as agreed, which was 2 EUR/day. The apartment is furnished with basic Ikea furniture. Clean bedding, towels, coffee next to the espresso maker, as well as cleaning supplies and personal care products like shampoo and soap were provided. In addition, the company offered cleaning services every weekday, which I did not use but appreciated the attention. Overall, everything matched the description on booking.com. The building itself, however, is white and does not resemble the blue-tiled property shown on some pages of the website. This might be another property serviced by the same company, or perhaps it's common in Portugal to use non-matching pictures for advertisements. Inside, the apartment has simple Ikea furniture that is well-kept and clean. Although the apartment does show some wear with scratches on the cupboards and walls. There is also a bit discolouration between the tiles in the bathroom. This did not bother me as long as everything was clean from inside and out.
