Location was awesome. Very quiet at night despite being located in a building on a busy popular pedestrian street.

The location was perfect! On a busy pedestrian Street. The unit was located in back of the building away from the street so it was quiet. You walk out of the building to shops, and restaurants.

The apartment (on the 1st floor, served by the elevator) is very well equipped and positioned. It's bright, quiet and nicely arranged. There's a little balcony. The bed mattress was really very comfortable. The kitchen is furnished with everything necessary for preparing breakfast or proper meals. At our disposal we also had air conditioning, a TV, a dishwasher and the washing machine. The bathroom has a nice shower and a bidet (thank God.... So difficult to find abroad). Together with the towels we got also bathrobe and slippers. The apartment manager welcomed us at our arrival, though it was nearly midnight and gave us a list of recommendations in terms of sites to visit, restaurants, and so on.

Location is in the middle of one of the streets that are an attraction in Porto. There are plenty of shops similar to the ones on the fancier Rua Santa Catarina, but in a more historical setting. Major attractions in the center (Sao Bento railway station, Clerigos church and tower, the double-deck bridge Ponte Luis I, Se do Porto cathedral, Palacio da Bolsa, Ribeira, Igreja da Misericordia to name just a few) are within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The hosts were very accessible via Booking.com messaging or via WhatsApp, and provided plenty of suggestions for things to do while in Porto.
