This was the second time I returned to City Stork. A lovely family-owned place, bright, spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, in the city centre & walkable in all directions.

Nice clean hostel in the middle of the old town. But far from the beach (30-45 min walk) but the old town is nice and still very Portugese

Family owned hostel - met mother and daughter. One of the best host I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. It felt as if I was staying at a very close family members home. They've created such an inviting environment. My partner and I stayed with a private room with a private bedroom. No complaints. If you need a hostel in Portimao, this is the spot..

Between train station and Mediterranean Coast this hostel offered more than I could ask for. Original Portuguese home comfort with living room to sit and read books, a shared bathroom with shower and a spacious kitchen for shared cooking. An extra was the roof terrace with a view to a stork nest on a defunct chimney. For evening or night amazing to sit on the sofas or even use the bed under the starry sky. It's a short walk to the main square café, ten minutes to the Marina Promenade and half an hour to the huge beach.
