Villa Julia is an amazing place. The owner Pasquale and his staff are fantastic. The rooms are decorated with taste and in fine detail, the bathroom have a beautiful napoletan style and the breakfast is exquisite (wonderful napoletan pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice for example). Villa Julia has a secure compound and a beautiful garden area to park your car. It is located about 2 kms from Pompei.

We had a great stay at Villa Giulia in Pompeii. The location is very convenient—you can walk to the historic ruins (30 min) or take a taxi, which the host can help arrange. The property is beautiful, very clean, peaceful, and very well maintained (excellent ratio of value for money) with a small garden and some fruit trees, including lemons. It has an authentic, relaxing feel. Everyone there ( the owner and staff) are friendly and very helpful. While they don’t serve lunch or dinner, but just aperitive, you can order excellent pizza for dinner delivery, and we highly recommend enjoying it outside at one of their comfortable tables with a view of Mount Vesuvius. You can order drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—on site, which make for a great, relaxing dinner experience. Breakfast (highly recommend book a room with a breakfast) is fresh and plentiful, with coffee, juice, meats, cheeses, eggs, sweets, and even cereal for a kid! Overall, just a wonderful, authentic, and comfortable experience. We highly recommend it.

Amazing people! I arrived and didn't feel good, they went all the way to find some batteries for the thermometer at the local town and even got me some medicine form the pharmacy. The room was bigger than we thought and the beds were comfortable. Will stay longer next time!
