Easy walking distance to the ruins but wouldn't recommend during the summer as its about 30 minutes. The traffic junctions to the main roads were exceptionally busy and difficult to get out sometimes, but the actual street was quiet. Good restaurants close by but would need a car.

I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a genuine flavour of local Pompei. It's set in a local suburb, away from the hotels and souvenir shops, thankfully. The family who own the property were exceptional in their care of us. Nothing was too much for them. There is also a beautiful "free cat" which hangs around outside, very affectionate and a bonus for us. The apartment was immaculate, range of local shops were a 10 minute walk away. Thank you, Mena, Davide, Carmelia for all your kindness.

Davide is a great host. He is friendly and always ready to help you. The tips he gave us was really helpful and our stay was a blast! Next time we will be back for the promised homemade pasta!

A small house in a local living area. Quiet and close to visit Pompeii. Clean and well equipped. We received the keys on arrival without problems. Own parking enough for a big car right at the house. The grilled chicken place at the corner and Maradonna Pizza are 2 very good options for food nearby. Thanks Mena for all the information you gave us!
