We had a wonderful stay! Shelagh and John welcomed us personally and made us feel at home. The flat itself was spacious and nicely decorated and thoughful equipped. I can highley recommend this holiday flat. Thank you Shelagh and John for making our holidays special.

Beautifully presented, as well as the added touch of milk,bread, butter and home made Marmalade. Could not wish for anymore. Absolutely perfect in every way. The hosts Shelagh and John were exceptional. We'll be visiting again before too long. Couldn't want for more.

Drakes Retreat is very nicely and recently decorated. The sofa, armchair and bed are really comfy. the shower is great and the kitchen very well appointed. The additional touches of home made marmalade, fresh bread & butter and flowers were really lovely. The parking (for one car) is behind the property, which is a very short walk The location for both the city centre and the great views at Plymouth Hoe (& the seafront) is ideal being only 2 mins walk in each direction. The very friendly and helpful hosts/owners live in the house above so are on hand if needed (but don’t intrude). We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

This property is extremely stylish, clean, and comfortable. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome, with lots of little extras like home made marmalade and quality toiletries. A dedicated parking space was really appreciated. Lots of amenities are within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and as avid readers we made use of the impressive reading library in the lounge. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and would recommend without hesitation
