Loved this hotel! The staff were amazing, and spending days on the beach, eating amazing food and drinking cocktails was just what I was after. Super close to the main strip.

The location was right on the beach but with that comes some extra noise so be prepared. The plus was that you would walk down for breakfast & enjoy the sand beneath your feet & the beautiful outlook every morning so well worth it. Afternoon drinks served & snacks were great from the hotel bar on the beach too. A very close, easy & super safe walk into to town & all bars, restaurants, shops & night clubs. All Staff were extremely friendly, super polite & helpful especially front desk guy( forgotten his name:( & also restaurant staff went out of their way to please. We had a car so having free parking on site was super convenient. Room size was great & comfortable. The hotel has a really lovely Mexican, comfy, welcoming feel!!

Very beautiful hotel, very well taken care of. Every time you go back to the hotel after a long day out it feels like arriving on paradise. It is also very well located to go around Playa del Carmen. The beach club next to it is also very cool, perfect to relax while eating/drinking something and enjoying the view on the beach.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel Casa Colibrí. The atmosphere is instantly calming, even with the loud strip of Playa del Carmen just a stone’s throw away. The rooms are large and spotless. The hotel’s restaurant and bar feel like a little oasis, with great cocktails and drinks overlooking the beach. Staff—from security to bar to reception were warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. They made everything easy. We didn’t get to enjoy all the facilities as we had early starts both mornings, but the team still prepped snacks, fruit, and fresh orange juice for us to take with us. We had breakfast on the deck watching the sunrise while waiting for our taxi. Highly recommend!!
