The villa/apartment is very spacious and is about a 15 walk away from the best beach on the island. There is a brand new aldi 5-6 minutes walk, so you can stock up on all your essentials for your self-catering stay. We've had excellent communications with the owners, with a few basic questions. There are 2 TV's. 1 In the lounge and 1 in master bedroom. 2 bathrooms, 2 large and spacious bedrooms and a sofa bed in lounge. The kitchen dining area is huge and reasonably stocked. The area itself is very quiet with street parking, but only a few minutes away from shops and restaurants in Playa Blanca. We would definitely stay here again because of the location and space it has to offer.

The flat was good value for money, a good size, clean and comfortable, it could do with a little TLC. Two double Bedrooms with their own bathrooms The contact was good and friendly. We hired a car which was essential as there are no shops near.

The apartment is very spacious with comfy furniture, two double bedrooms, a pull out bed. two bathrooms with plenty of hot water and great shower pressure. Basically, everything a family, or two friends could need. This is a non-serviced apartment, which is unusual for us Brits, but very common in Spain and means you have to take a bit of responsibility for your surroundings. However, extra cleaning is available from the host on request, as are clean towels, sheets etc. A full sized cooker, microwave and barbecue along with sharp knives and plenty of cooking pans and equipment mean that all sorts of culinary delights can be conjured up. My friend and I never cook when we are on holiday, but Apartmento El Jameo put an end to our tradition. We bought local meat and some fabulous fresh fish from the harbour shop which we barbecued. We also appreciated having a washing machine. We liked the fact that the apartment was in a residential area, as we aren't fans of complexes, but this means there is a certain amount of noise, Spanish people in their gardens during the evenings and the odd dog barking, but neither if these bothered us. Also, as the apartment is a lower ground floor, don't worry - there are huge windows onto the patios, you occasionally hear the family above, but when we were there, this was just the children leaving for school. However, we are sure that we disturbed the family more than they did us. The apartment is one mile from the beach and a mile and a half from the hub of the town and the marina, which was no problem for us and meant that after walking, we could eat more. A taxi home after eating in the evening was less than five euros for two of us. However, if you are unable to walk these distances, a car would be required - or if you are brave, you could utilise the readily available electric scooters. The patio areas don't see much sun, but with a fabulous beach nearby, why sit at the apartment?
