The fine print
Bank House is a separate building from the main Scotland's Spa Hotel.All facilities like bar and restaurant are in the main hotel but guest staying in the Bank House are very welcome to use the facilities as the please.The Bank House is Dog Friendly and there is no charge for Dogs staying in the Bank House. While the guests are very welcome to use the main hotel, the main hotel is not Dog Friendly.

We were in a annex with the dog which was adequate but a bit of a strange set up as away from the hotel. Breakfast was lovely and staff were great.

We ended up in a separate cottage from the hotel across the road, if we didn't have kids we would have been upset but gave us a little more freedom.
