We stayed as a family and went to Heartland Festival. It was a 7 minute walk to the festival. Heartland was our first festival as a family with children aged 8 and 7 and it was amazing. The hotel has old decor but lovely spacious rooms, very friendly staff, tasty breakfast and the location had everything on its doorstep. The gardens to the hotel were beautiful and allowed the kids to have a place to play.
