BenIsaac “A wonderfully comfortable stay at this quaint hotel with all mod cons”

I really liked this quaint hotel in the old walled city. A lovely welcome, the lady from the hotel came out to meet my driver who had to park outside the walls (traffic can't come inside the city) with a big umbrella as it was pouring with rain, and helped me with my bags. I had a small suite of rooms, the bedroom was quiet and peaceful and I had a little sitting room and bathroom with all mod cons despite the antiquity of the hotel. It looked out on a lovely courtyard, like many of the buildings in the town, with a hammock. The staff couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable, and packed my breakfast up so I could take it for the day as still being jetlagged I couldn't eat early in the morning. On the day I left they transported my luggage on a moped to the car.

The friendliness of the staff was amazing, my car was met by a wonderful lady with a big umbrella as it was pouring and cars can't enter the city walls and helped with my luggage. Even though they didn't speak English everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable and upgraded me so I could stay in a little suite for a second night instead of changing rooms. The hotel though in a very old building had all mod cons.

The staff where so warm and welcoming and helpful, great restaurant recommendations and helped us organise a driver at very short notice. The view from our room was awesome - looking over the old roofs of the city to the city walls.
