Beautiful setting - the farm is full of colour and wildlife and very peaceful. But very close to so many places. We did a day trip to Pisa and Lucca, went to Pietrasanta and the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Fattoria Il Giardo was a great experience. An oasis of tranquility, an immersive nature experience – it offers everything you need for a perfect vacation. A propriety of more the 12.000 m2 with an excellent pool, huge lake, olive trees , fruit trees, rabbits, ducks and other cute wild animals, it is practically a microecosystem. Its position (roughly 3 km from the beach) in Pietrasanta, makes it a very good starting point to explore the whole Versilia coastline, as well as Cinque Terre, Pisa, Luca and other beautiful towns in Tuscany or southern Liguria. Of course a car if very helpful, but the distance to the beach and nearby towns (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi) can also be covered with the bike. We had a wonderful week staying here and our kind hosts made sure that everything was in order. We had a two bedroom accommodation with kitchen and all the necessary facilities, from AC to a moka pot, even access to a laundry machine. We will definitely be coming back in the following years.
