The location was handy to everything - restaurants, ferry terminals, the trek company for Q. Charlotte wall was just cross the road. Check in NZ out easy to organise

We had booked a 2 bed apartment and were offered a free upgrade with a better view and more room. The apartment we stayed in was 406, a 3 bedroom - 2 bathroom, in tower 3 on level 4 (third floor). The apartment and views were both amazing, score 10 for both. Fully equipped with everything you could need. The view looks straight down the sound. Watching the ferries come and go as well as the small commercial boats and pleasure craft was fascinating. The dinghies were out racing. Picton centre is quite small and we had no need of a car although parking is included. The apartment is an easy walk from the ferry terminals. Coffee and food is literally just below or a 20 metre walk around the corner. All the tourist company tours and departures are just across the road. All this obviously comes at a cost but if you can afford it then it is brilliant.

The location was perfect with beautiful views. We returned to stay a couple of weeks later on our way back and we got upgraded to the penthouse suite which was just the most awesome news to receive. The whole family were stoked about it and the views were phenomenal. We loved how secure the car parking was and how easy it was to retrieve the keys, and the communication was excellent from the hosts.
