Baan Malee is a great accommodation with all the facilities you need. The rooms are clean and air conditioned and there is a fully equipped shared kitchen. The staff is super friendly and the location is just a five minute walk from the old town. Definitely one of our best stays we had in Thailand!

One of the best value for money accommodations. Located by the old town, we ended up spending a week here we enjoyed it so much. Everything is a walk away, lovely restaurants, night markets and museums. The room was great, we had a balcony and a private bathroom that was located outside the room but it wasn't a problem. The most beautiful little corgi, Rosa, resides in the main home of the building. There's also a kitchen with many plates and cutlery, I think I remember there being a microwave.

To start there was a slight mix up in rooms, but once we told the owner she instantly changed the room to the one we booked without hesitation. There was a washing machine and clothes hanging area that costs 40baht per load. There is also a kitchen down stairs you have use of. The bed was very big, we had a small balcony and everything was clean and fresh and we had daily room service with fresh towels and cleaned. The rooms are very spacious and while we was there they finished the gardening that made it look great, the workers were lovely too. The area was brilliant with all amenities of old town nearby and about a 10 minute walk to the main streets of old town Phuket. We stayed during Songkran and the area was buzzing with water fights and laughter. We checked out on the first day of Songkran and the owner let us leave our backpacks there so we could go have water fights in the streets nearby, we came back very wet and we had use of a bathroom to get dry and change our clothes which we massively appreciated. We have been backpacking for 3 months now across Asia, and we always leave completely honest reviews of everywhere we stay to help other travellers so that people don't waste their money or so they know what to expect. Baan Malee was genuinely up there with one of the best budget friendly places we have stayed in Asia so far. Apart from the WiFi being a little slow, everything else is absolutely brilliant. We would like to thank the owner and workers for a lovely stay and to keep up the great work.
