Samuel “Don't miss on this in Phong Nha”

Tam's homestay is a must for a couple, solo traveller or someone who doesn't want to stay in a hostel. The mini bungalow rooms are really nice, clean. The air con takes a while to do its magic, but Phong Nha is usually hot, so it's to be expected. Breakfast is included and you have six options. We usually opted for eggs or banana pancakes. Both delicious and a good way to start the day. Tam and his family are so so friendly, including his lovely dog. It's peaceful and despite being out of the centre slightly, you can get pedal bikes, a motorbike e.g. all for a good price. Whilst here, we cycled to the duck stop one day and relaxed as it was tiring. Then the next we used a motorbike to visit all the caves In the area. Tam is very knowledgeable, so be sure to ask him questions. Water and canned drinks are available for a cheaper than shop price cold or room temperature. The price of the stay is great and it was better than expected. Thank you again, Tam, from Sam and Megan. We'll be sure to visit in the future.

It was really good! I came a day early because of the bus came in the middle of the night and it was no problem. All tours and buses were booked through the Homestay and it was sooo easy. Great place to stay, and the hospitality of the family was the best I’ve seen so far. Thanks a lot! It was great!

Tam’s Homestay was perfect – great location, beautiful room, and super friendly hosts. We could check in early, rent a scooter easily, and Tam helped us organize our bus. Best of all, we truly felt like part of the family. Highly recommended!

Tam is an excellent host, very kind, welcoming and hospitable. The Homestay is modern and has all the amenities you’d require. Thanks you Tam for your assistance making an itinerary for Ninh binh and helping me rent a motorbike and bus tickets for my onward travel :)
