We loved absolutely everything about the place: beautiful and relaxing location, very friendly staff, the immersion in nature, the free yoga class with a great teacher. Your children will love the swimming pool and the adorable animals roaming around freely. The managers are a lovely family who will give you great advice to organise your stay in the stunning Phong Nha region.

After visiting a few very busy cities we were really ready to chill out somewhere and Nguyen shack retreat resort was just what the doctor ordered. The staff were delightful! They have puppies and piglets and cats and goats and a baby buffalo. We had one of the family bungalows as we are two friends travelling together and it was really nice to have our own space one up one down and a balcony. The food was really nice and they have free yoga and a great pool.
