Staff were amazing. The breakfast was really good. We ate dinner there as well and that was good. Swimming pool nice and quite. Room was quite even though we were directly below the dining room.

First, the staff was really nice. Second, the breakfast was a copious and tasty buffet with several options (i.e., both western and local). Third, it felt like a relatively small hotel, not so busy during raining season. Finally, the area felt really authentic.
