The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Only fully vaccinated guests with proof of their digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate are allowed to check-in at our hotel. Guests who are not / not fully vaccinated with an admissible reason are required to obtain a letter of consent by an appointed Doctor.
Please note that Sunway Lagoon Theme Park opens daily at 10:00 to 18:00.
The hotel is also a smoke-free property. Violators are liable to a fine of RM 400.

we actually got an upgrade to the Sunway Lagoon Resort so my answers are based on that hotel. I don’t know how / why the upgrade happened but we loved it!

They upgraded our rooms free of charge, we booked with Sunway Pyramid but they gave us connecting rooms in Sunway Resort. Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Aqua Park view was great, staff and reception team were friendly, the mall is in the same complex, and the breakfast was very good, they provide different varieties. We enjoyed our stay in Sunway Resort and had a lunch at Gordon Ramsay Restaurant which is in the lobby area.

Hotel is very clean & spacious. Next to shopping mall with lots of shopping & eateries. Big shopping mall . Next to Sunway lagoons too .. outside hotels having lots of mamak restaurants & nasi kandar etc.. would want to stay here again !! Staffs are very friendly & helpful !!
