It was a lovely house, with beautiful views of the Douro Valley. The terrace was perfect for chilling in the evenings with a glass of port which Paulo kindly left for us to enjoy or to have a coffee in the morning :-)

We loved our stay here......possibly the best place we've stayed in Portugal once everything is considered. First off, the photos on Booking.com do not do the property any favours. The apartment is WAY better than the photos. It literally has one of THE MOST STUNNING VIEWS ON THE PLANET. Right ftom your own private terrace. A million dollar view that is worth every penny of the rental price. The inside was spotlessly clean, and I know about such things. 😁😂 A good comfortable bed with good pillows and bedding with the added benefit of air con when it gets too hot, a good sleep is assured. An excellent kitchen with all you need including an excellent electric hob and PROPER SIZE wine glasses 😂😁 Hard to get in Portugal 😂😁 A lovely tiled bathroom with good water pressure from the shower. Great TV choice with lots of channels plus more air con in the living room if required. I wish I owned this property...... a truly stunning location with ready made entertainment from the sun terrace watching the river traffic and wildlife. Perfect for couplese. We will return for sure.

Great view from the balcony. The owner is very kind, helped us . Just near the train...but it didn't bother us.
