We've stayed here before which is why we returned. It's a quiet location and has a fabulous pool. The apartment is spacious with a balcony to sit out on overlooking a wooded valley. The property is set in a working vineyard and the outlook in all directions is lovely. The fridge is well stocked with basics for a breakfast and fresh bread rolls, croissants and cakes arrive each morning. The staff are charming. The Douro valley is stunning and the boat trip with lunch to Pinhao is well worth doing. We also took the train from Regua to Pocinho-again a beautiful trip.

Almost like staying with family. Super friendly hosts, and the estate is amazing. They make their own wine and olive oil, and were very helpful throughout. Beautiful, quiet location - even has its own waterfall. Great pool, too.

This property is in a scenic location in the Douro Valley on a lovely farm approximately 6 km from Peso da Regua. The self-contained guest house is spacious and well equipped with kitchen utensils, etc. There is a nice living room in which to relax and a small deck to take in fresh air and hillside views One bonus was having a regular type drip coffee pot! Breakfast was spectacular. For our two night stay, the fridge was stocked with milk, juice, water, and a bottle of Rose. As well, packages of sliced cheese and ham were available along with butter, jams, etc. At a time of our choosing, hot croissants, several small buns (suitable for sandwiches) and two Pastel de Nata pastries arrived at our door. The property is exceptionally clean and neat. There is a swimming pool, which in the summer, must be grand.
