Quinta Estrada is set in a beautiful peaceful location with good access to explore some beautiful places in the Douro region by car. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Accommodation was clean & comfortable. Wine tasting was great value for money & good home cooked food.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was clean and spacious—perfect for our family of three. Our 3-year-old especially enjoyed meeting the resident dog, exploring the property, and visiting the fish. The breakfast, dinner, and wine tasting were all excellent. Olena was incredibly welcoming and gave us some fantastic suggestions for places to visit during our stay (we did them all!). We had easy parking, the location was great, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

My stay at Quinta da Estrada was one of the highlights of my trip. As a solo traveler, I felt immediately comfortable and safe. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. When I realised I’d left my charger plug at my last hotel, they kindly lent me one – just one example of how thoughtful and accommodating they were throughout my stay. The room itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. But the most special moment was my private dining experience. As I was traveling solo, they offered to serve dinner on my terrace – and it was magical. I watched a beautiful sunset over the vineyards while enjoying delicious food and wine. It was peaceful, personal, and completely unforgettable. The grounds are stunning and well worth exploring – I highly recommend taking a hike around the area to fully appreciate the beauty of the Douro Valley. I’ll definitely be returning with my partner next time. Quinta da Estrada is a truly special place, and I can’t recommend it enough.
