Everything was great. From the warm, friendly welcome and attentive attitude of the owner on our arrival to when we left our stay was perfect. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfasts were plentiful and varied with fresh bread each day. Miguel was approachable but not at all overbearing, he kindly supplied us with routes each day so we saw all the sights of this beautiful area. Can't recommend this highly enough, if we visit the area again we would not hesitate to return to Caso do Pato.

Angelo, was the most amazing host. Breakfast was out of this world. Fresh Bread every morning along with Portugese tarts. Fresh Youghurt Juice ham and cheese. Very very generous. The swimming pool was amazing. We enjoyed as swim as soon as we arrived.

Miguel is a fabulous and friendly host who has built an amazing and modern home to provide guests with a unique experience. His wife Lili is equally wonderful and treated us like family. This is not simply a business for them but a passion and they express the love for what they do through various details that you will see (I won’t spoil the surprises). Everything we needed and more was provided with extreme attention to detail. The breakfast is the best we have had in any stay, and we travel often to some amazing resorts. We had enough quality food left over for afternoon picnics. The apartment was comfortable, sparkling clean, very well equipped, beautifully furnished and extremely functional. The hot tub was well enjoyed by the whole family. The location was close to amazing sights of the Douro and quintas that produce excellent wine. There is a grocery store a few steps away and free parking. Felt like home and we did not want to leave. We 110% recommend staying here, you will not regret it! Best experience in the area, there are amazing quintas nearby but none are like Casa do Pato. We will be back soon!
