This place is paradise. The location in Como is so peaceful and unique. Then there are the hosts—while we mostly saw Claudio, who was always up for a friendly chat or happy to share ideas for the day ahead (always with a big, warm smile), the thoughtfulness of Maria was just as noticeable and appreciated. The apartment itself was homey, comfortable, and charming, with everything you could possibly need. The garden was also beautifully maintained, full of lovely flowers and plants and just everything making sense being beautiful and super comfortable. Truly, it was a 10… plus! When I do my meditations, I’ll think back on this as my happy place. Although Como is such a dreamy place in general - we loved relaxing around the apartment the most - with the beautiful view on the lake!! Thank you so much for this experience. I’m so grateful it was possible for us to stay here—it’s incredibly reasonably priced, especially considering everything you get. Thank you, thank you!

What an amazing property! The owner Claudio and his wife, Maria, were really friendly and helpful, picking us up from the train station as we travelled without a car and helping us to do some laundry whilst we were there. The walk to Varenna is 30-40 minutes down a walking path and quite steep in places. It was well worth the walk though for the amazing views from the property. We also found some great places to eat in the nearer village of Perledo (which Claudio recommended to us) so we didn't need to walk down to Varenna everyday - we'd recommend La Fonte Restaurant! The pool and terrace were amazing with beautiful views. Would not hesitate to recommend staying at this place, will definitely be back!
