Thank you Nishanta for a lovely stay at your welcoming home! I want to begin my review by encouraging anyone who is still unsure about traveling to Sri Lanka in times of the economic crisis (end of June 2022): please come and visit this beautiful country. Many Sri Lankans make a living with tourism. They are not only struggling due to the shortage and rising prices of fuel and food but also because there has not been much tourism lately. It was not a problem to get a taxi from the airport to Nishantas home. There are several agents offering their service. Yes, it might be more expensive than it used to be but still very affordable compared to European prices for transport. Nishanta and his wife are very friendly hosts that will help you with anything you need. We were served delicious tea once we arrived. I would highly encourage you to have dinner here but please book in advance and inform Nishanta about special requests (i.e. vegetarian meal) or allergies.

The owners are very friendly and helpfull. The area around is beautifull. We spent 2 nights here and did some hiking. The owners helped us a lot about organizing the hike. We also had meals at the house and it was very very tasty, real sri lankan food.
