This room includes a queen bed, sofa, TV, iPod dock, high quality bathrobes and sippers and access to its own spa bath and bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. Free WiFi and free continental breakfast are included in the daily price and a cooked English breakfast is available for an additional $15 per person. They gave us a personal welcome and brought our bags up the stairs. There were a lot of complementary drinks and snacks provided. Great location with free parking. Very safe and secure.

Ting was a lovely host. Nothing too much trouble. Location was great for the town of Penguin. Penguin is a great quiet spot on the north coast.

The Madsen Retreat is close to village of penguin, an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was good with a selection from the continental menu to choose from. Ting was very nice, helpful and friendly, ready to assist with anything needed. She also provided good advice to see the local penguin colony.
