Everything except the food I recently stayed at Pushap palace in Patiala and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is one of its biggest strengths—it's conveniently close to some of the city's key attractions. The famous Gurudwara Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib is just a short walk away, making it a great option for those visiting for spiritual reasons. Similarly, the iconic Kali Mata Mandir is also easily accessible, adding to the convenience for tourists. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff was courteous and responsive, ensuring our stay was smooth. However, one area where the hotel could improve is its food. While the meals were decent, I had higher expectations for Punjabi cuisine, especially in Punjab, where the flavors are known to be rich, affordable and authentic. A little more effort to enhance the taste and presentation could really make dining a highlight of the stay. Or alternatively make the price point realistic. Overall, Pushap Palace is a great choice for its location and comfort, but there's room for improvement in delivering the true Punjabi culinary experience.

I booked while at rail station, there was cheaper, nearer, I liked reviews and look of this hotel. I stopped in patiala for break, took auto to hotel. Fast efficient check in. As it was late asked about food and they a kitchen. I got to room relaxed, put tv on ,fan on checked menu so much choice. Food arrived, it was great spicy but enjoyable, ate too much. Next morning checked out left my 2 bags to go to book train unfortunately 7pm train no seats, looked at bus too. Return to hotel 3pm asked hotel to book a car for me, 2 of them called a few agreed a price and booked. While waiting given tea. Excellent service considering id checked out. I'll be back.plus location only about mile from station nilam bagh is green quiet peaceful an oasis in busy city. Geyser had hot water in evening. Not many hotels do.
