Shallow Pig is situated on a beautiful farm. We enjoyed the peace and quite. The house is well equiped with a nice woodstove to keep the cold out. Everything is neat and clean. We also enjoyed the hiking trail and a breath of fresh air

Lots of small detail to what is available.....even salt..... Umbrella.....torch etc etc. Very cute and cozy.

Situated on a beautiful farm, the cottage is lovely. It's neat & clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the coal stove at night & enjoyed the sunrise on the stoep every morning with the company of some chickens.. We enjoyed the peace & quiet of the farm.

We were only meant to stay at Shallow Pig on the last night of our trip. When our first accommodation let us down, I called the Shallow Pig, and they sprang into action with unbelievable hospitality to make sure that we weren't stranded. We ended up staying here our entire trip, and now whenever we visit - we will never stay anywhere else. Everything about this place is wonderful. The views, especially, and the sunrise over the mountains blew me away. I recommend this place to everyone.
