The Marquis Fauberg hotel, in a quiet street in the centre of Paris, is a real discovery. The former home of the Marquis - it is like stepping back in time visiting a private property. There isn't a bar or a restaurant (apart from breakfast) making it feel even more like a private residence than a hotel. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars so this is not a problem - we considered it a bonus. Our room was sumptuously furnished with a beautiful marble bathroom and a little private terrace.
