We made a last minute booking on d-day, and we were upgraded to a nicer room on the highest floor (5th) that included a little balcony with a nice view of the Parisian streets below. It was truly a delight. Room was clean, bed sheets were clearly of good quality, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable I slept through the whole night. Decor is quaint and cute, definitely not because the hotel is "old" but obviously they had a style in mind and went for it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation near the Gare de Lyon or to explore the Bastille or Marais nearby.

Great location - this was a stop before travelling to the south of France so being near Gare de Lyon was important. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Air con was doing an excellent job in 38 degree heat!

The hotel is quite old, but everything works, and it delivers what it promises. The room was clean and quiet.

The room was small but the location was wonderful. Besides, who spends too much time in a room on holiday?! All the amenities were great and the staff were friendly. We would definitely stay again.
