This is a very reasonably priced small guest house. From the outside, it looks very plain. This of course makes the inside such a wonderful surprise. The inner courtyard with its ring of palm trees, pool and sitting area are lovely. Beautiful place to sit out in the evening. There is a covered area at the back of the yard, perfect for a cigar. The room we had was very spacious for the 3 of us and well appointed. Good air conditioner - effective and quiet. Plenty of hot water, A very sweet young woman named Casey was in attendance during the day and although she did not speak much English, we communicated quite nicely for the most part using Google Translate. It was fun actually. She will make breakfast for you if you wish for a fee. There is also a cafeteria named Niko's close by (within 10 minute walk) that is open 24 hours. The house is in a quiet residential area and we felt very safe . Just a short Uber ride to the old city (under $5 - often less depending on the time of day)
