This huge apartment is in a great location, overlooking Capo Market. The area is busy and noisy, but we had no problems sleeping with the windows closed. The owner Sergio gave us detailed check in for the apartment and we were able to check in early. He gave us lots of tips for the surrounding area including a map. He also provided coffee, water, oranges, pasta and a bottle of limoncello! The apartment was very spacious and clean, on the 3rd floor, accessed by an elevator. Make to switch on the downstairs light when accessing the property at night. Highly recommended 👌

Lovely apartment in a beautiful location of Palermo, just above the historic Mercato del Capo. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and flooded with natural light, which made the stay a home-feeling experience. Bed was very comfy ensuring good sleep and bathroom with shower were also clean and comfortable with great water pressure. The balconies were really nice to have breakfast enjoying the view of the city and mountains in the background with the liveliness of the market. The location is very convenient to walk around everywhere, restaurants, bars, cafeterias, shops are within a short walk, additionally it is a very safe place, felt good to walk back home, especially as the apartment also has security cameras. I would also like to mention the host's professionalism and kindness, giving excellent recommendations, providing water & oranges for the stay and even upon leaving a packet of true Sicilian pasta, which gesture was truly special and really appreciated. Highly recommend staying at Porta Carini, both for solo travellers, couples or families, everyone will find comfort and have lovely stay here. I definitely will stay here next time I'm in Palermo:)
