Tassilo “Great spot if you have a car and want to explore this part of Sicily.”

A cute little house, everything you need for 1 or 2 persons. Bathroom is small, but functional. Living area is nice. Kitchen is limited (just a dual hot plate). Small terrace/sitting area outside in front of the house with an olive garden next to it. The location is excellent if you have a car and want to explore the area or even the western half of Sicily (e.g. I drove to Agrigento, takes about 1h45). At night the area is quiet (you can hear the distant noise of the highway). Parking is on a safe private street right next to the house/olive garden. To go to Palermo and avoid parking/traffic there, the train station is 2 min away by car (and has a recently opened car park, or you can find a spot in front of the station) - a train runs every 30min during the day and every hour in the evening. You could also walk to the station in about 15 min. The hosts are very friendly, easy to reach, and were waiting outside for me upon arrival (they live next door), with a prosecco, a dessert, a bottle of water waiting for me in the fridge, and some chips (crisps for the British).
