Vittorina “Room for improvement at this apartment in a wonderful location in central Palermo”

The location is wonderful, and honestly this is the main reason why I still gave this property a 7/10 rating. The bonus of the apartment being on the 3rd floor is a wonderful outlook from the bedroom windows onto the streets below and the surrounding buildings and rooftops. Some other reviews have mentioned steep stairs, and they are steep, but this was no problem for us, and there is also a very slow elevator that can be used. Understandably due to the good location, the street below is very noisy if you are there on a Saturday night, as we were, and the cars, noise and music went on until the early hours. But you can close the windows (there is air conditioning) and this helps a little if this bothers you. I received a number of parking suggestions from the host, and this allowed us to park free of charge close to the building- The property is reasonably priced but we stayed at many other properties in Sicily during a two week stay at similar prices, and they were all better looked after than this one. There are a number of negative issues.
