This lovely apartment is the size of a standard house and has wow factor. We loved our visit here as its like walking into a very tasteful retro museum. The 4 bedroom apartment is immaculate, spotlessly clean and in fantastic repair. All rooms are very large, there is a balcony, 2 bathrooms and a very large kitchen. Everything required for cooking is available and there is an elevator to the floor, but also a very short flight of stairs to get to the elevator however an electric service platform is also provided on the stairs. Our host met us at the apartment and was extremely helpful and kind. The apartment is easy walking to the bus and train station and about 10 minutes from the old center.

The apartment was very large and extremely well equipped with everything you may need for your holiday. It was also secure with lift access. Location is excellent near to public transport and the centre. Communication with the owner Pietro was quick and clear.

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant 5 weeks stay at this attractively furnished and spacious apartment. Pietro, the personable host, welcomed us with bottled water, oranges and wine, an overview of the apartment and details of local historic and other tourist sites to visit in Palermo. He replied promptly to our inquiries before arrival and followed up during our stay to see how things were going. Pietro was very patient with our inability to speak Italian, but we communicated reasonably well with Google translator. This 4th floor apartment has good elevator service, is well-maintained, very clean, only minor street noise, and is quiet at night. The apartment is very spacious with large living and dining rooms, a sizeable well-equipped kitchen with an eating area, two bedrooms with comfortable double beds, a study/bedroom with an extra single bed, and two bathrooms. The automatic heating system worked well during cool March nights. The apartment has air-conditioning in each room. The large balcony was enjoyable on sunny days. The website photos are accurate. The apartment was very reasonably priced. The street area around the apartment building is a bit run-down and littered, but that did not detract from the apartment. A good grocery store is only a 5 minute walk. The daily street market with a huge variety of fresh things is about a 10 minute walk. Local historic sites, good restaurants, and shopping in old town Palermo are about a 20 minute walk or shorter by bus. Central station with train and bus services is also just a short walk. From there, we enjoyed two train trips to scenic Cefalu with its stunning seaside location, great beach, historic sites, good shops and restaurants. Our afternoon boat excursion along the coast of Cefalu was amazing and is highly recommended. Pietro, thank you for your kind hospitality and for making our visit to Sicily such a pleasure. Good location near train station which is convenient for the airport bus. Excellent host who gave good advice for local stores and restaurants. Easy to walk to centre and Palazzo Normani. A huge, spacious, well appointed apartment.
