The service was exemplary. The r9oms were beautifully decorated according to the period. Breakfast was very good. We thoroughly enjoys our stay and the personal touch.

The hosts, Stan and Bernadette, were outgoing, warm and friendly, made us feel very welcome, and are salt-of-the-earth, wonderful people - by the time we left, we felt like long lost friends. Breakfasts were excellent, and we loved James, the dog. This historical feather palace is situated on a working farm and is a magnificent gem harking back to a bygone era - for the historically-inclined, this majestic, beautiful old building is a feast for the senses, and highly recommended and highly-recommended for anyone with a penchant for old buildings.

We loved our stay. The hosts are very welcoming, it was great to talk to them and we had the very best self-made rusks in South Africa. We truly enjoyed it and highly recommend to stay there. It was the most beautiful and special place we stayed at on our trip and probably the largest bathroom I have ever seen :). Also, the dinner recommendation (at Nostalgie) was fantastic. Best dinner on our trip! Take care, wishing you all the best!
