This was a small but quite smart well laid out house with an upstairs bathroom, a downstairs loo & a well laid out kitchen with all the equipment needed for our 2 night stay. There was parking in front of the property. Even though the house is terraced we did not suffer from any neighbour noise. We stayed for 2 nights on Orkney & the location of the house near Kirkwall was a good base for our time there

The home was spacious and comfortable, with a pleasant back garden. We we traveling with a group (but booked accommodation independently) and so had no car; however, it was only a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town, and the supermarkets were nearby. The neighbourhood itself was quiet, and we even slept through some serious weather! So it was a cosy and relaxing base to return to at the end of a long and busy day.
