The room was absolutely brilliant, it was clean and tidy when wr arrived and we were greeted by the owner who was lovely. I would highly recommend staying here yo anyone.

Beautifully designed and maintained apartment in great location. Clean, well equipped kitchen. Lovely warm, deep bath and roaring log fire, which Karen helpfully lit for us! Extra treats provided made us feel ultra welcome: home made brownies on the counter, packets of chips and chocolate on the table fruit and eggs in the fridge

Karen is an amazing host and the high rating for this place is there for a reason. The accommodation was overly equipped with necessities and snacks galore. Showing up with various groceries for the weekend stay felt almost embarassing as I walked into a kitchen equipped with all the most necessary ingredients. There were snacks available, and even local delights like a muffin that was one of the most delicious I have ever had. The kitchen equipment was great as well, lots of high quality utensils and appliances. Overall the place is made with no expense spared. The lighting is beautiful and very versatile. There are two huge TVs that work perfectly with hanging HDMI chords so you don't even have to spend time setting up. The fireplace also worked a treat. We visited during sub zero temperatures and a simple fire heated the place up far hotter than we even wanted. Now for the outdoors. The location is good. There is a short walk before you overlook a huge valley that can be quite pretty at sunset. There were also cows and sheep and horses you could feed which was a tonne of fun. There are like three different outdoor areas available for you to use as well, with a very well built fireplace in a nice open area. There is plenty of firewood and kindling and firestarters available. Again, this place is well equipped. The scenery immediately outside is quite nice. There is a windmill just outside the stay and some rustic old trucks that are quite cool to take photos with.
