It was very clean and comfortable. Good location. Quiet with a nice enclosed garden at the back. The small bar fridge was very inadequate and had a tiny freezer section …. the freezer completely defrosted itself and leaked water all around. The bath/shower glass screen was very awkward and difficult to work around. Some spare blankets would have been good too, and mixing bowls and vegetable/cheese grater in the kitchen.

My friend and I were in Orange for medical appointments, so it wasn't exactly a leisurely night away. We are both business owners ourselves, however, are known for being disorganised and late, so we were a bit behind the clock at checkout time ;) We happened to meet Becca, the host & owner of Stayz Orange who was waiting to come in and clean. Ended up talking business, mothering, women's health, the mental load, and just life in general for at least an hour. Such a lovely, kind soul. It was a highlight of our stay to meet someone who is as down to Earth and on the frontline of her own business when she is able to be, to ensure quality and standards. We felt super comfortable to give feedback directly to Becca. The lounges were very stained and there were a few other little things, however, it's the responsibility of the owners to spend the money and update furniture etc. Especially when it is beyond repair- (to the point we didn't sit on the lounges.) Over all, suited our needs for a one night stay. Host was amazing and clearly a workaholic like the 2 of us, and we hope to cross paths again. We exchanged numbers, so it is highly likely! Would absolutely recommend booking any accommodation managed by these legends! They clearly go above and beyond in their business and we can't speak highly enough of Becca and Stayz as a host!
