The host was so friendly and helpful! He explained the different options for cycling the Shimanami Kaido and we rented bikes from the guesthouse for a good price. On our first evening we had arrived a bit late and there were no restaurants open nearby, so the host lent us bikes for free to cycle to a restaurant! And on our last day, when we missed the bus, he drove us to the ferry himself! He and his wife could not have made us feel more welcome. Would recommend to anyone wishing to cycle the Shimanami Kaido.

Excellent location at the outset of the Shimanami Kaido cycle route just a few minutes away by ferry which we had to take anyway to get to the start of our ride. The guesthouse is a lovely family run heaven with a super kind host who let us leave our heavy luggage at his house during our ride and we collected on the way back. Very comfortable, convenient, reasonably priced - would highly recommend.

The hostel was awesome comfy beds great staff and lovely family! Gave out free bikes to explore the town would definitely come back 10/10 also great guide for all questions about the bike path!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The owners went above and beyond for us, which we will always be grateful for. Such a great place to stay before we rode the Shimanami Kaido.
