The house was beautifully decorated and maintained. All the rooms were spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, it had all the amenities you could need and more. The host was very friendly and responsive. We stayed in Onomichi to cycle the Shimanami Kaido and explore the nearby towns and islands and we both wanted to stay in a traditional Japanese house - this was our favourite stay of the whole trip. The garden was lovely and the view from upstairs was incredible. There were only 2 of us in such a big house so there was far more space than necessary - I would love to bring my family back here one day!

Great views of the port. The house was large and well-kept. I especially liked the garden. Its location is also excellent, a short walk from the main shopping street and nearby temples.
