We loved the "idea" of staying in a castle, and the castle itself is gorgeous, but for the price we paid we could have had a MUCH better room somewhere else. The breakfast was fantastic, as would be expected for a historic "pousada", and we really appreciated the fun and helpful employee that picked us up in a golf cart from the recommended free car park outside the town walls.
